Maral Overseas Thermal Power plant winner of NECA,2011
The Thermal power plant of Maral Overseas Ltd has won the National Energy Conservation Award for the outstanding work done by the plant in the field of Energy conservation during the year 2010-11.The award was in recognition to MOL has achieved much less plant heat rate and the auxiliary consumption than the design values. The National Energy Conservation award is the highest award in the field of energy conservation. This is a great honor to MOL since it has been in competition to country’s very large plants in the category of Thermal power stations.
The award function was organized on 14th Dec,2011 at Vigyan Bhawan which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India ,Sh. Manmohan singh.

Maral Won Citi’s Birla Award
Maral Overseas Ltd, Maral Sarovar won the CITI’s Birla Award for Excellence in Energy Conservation for the year 2010-11. The award consists of a cheque for Rs. 2 Lakh and a citation. The award received by Shri Tarun Baldua, President of Maral Overseas Ltd from the hands of CITI’s Chairman Shri Shishir Jaipuria in a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Trident, Mumbai on 30th September 2011.
