Maral Sarovar (Unit-I), was established in 1991 & is located in the cotton heartland of India. Rich in black soil, this part of Central India produces one of finest long staple raw cotton. The unit is spread across 140 acres of land on the banks of Narmada river. It is a state of the art setup for spinning yarn, knitting and processing of fabrics and making apparel for global brands. 

In the year 1998, Maral took over its Group company's unit based at Jammu (North India), consolidating its knitwear manufacturing business. Setup in 1985, with technical collaboration from Group Devanlay of France (Makers of Lacoste), this unit has pride of being India's first vertical setup in cotton knits. After procuring Yarn from Unit-I or from approved suppliers, Jammu knits, processes fabrics and makes garments. This unit also has a setup for manufacturing flat knit sweaters on STOLL machines from Germany. 

As part of a focused strategy on expansion in garment manufacturing, Maral set up its Unit-III in 2003 at Noida (Near Delhi). This unit is customized to the needs of hanger packed shipments & value added garments with fabrics from Unit-I. This Unit has a fine setup for manufacturing knitted garments. 

Maral produces 1100 tons of combed cotton yarn and 1.5 million meters of processed knitted fabric per month, besides the capacity to knit 400 tons of greige fabrics per month. It also has an installed capacity to manufacture 850,000 pieces of knitted garments every month. Maral has India's first ISO 9002 certified 100% Export Oriented Unit. It has also been awarded certification and trophies from Institute for Mark to kalogie, Rajeev Gandhi national Quality Award and TEXPROCIL.
